Bhajji Slaps Sreesanth!!!
April 26, 2008Harbhajan allegedly slapped Sreesanth after Mumbai Indians lost their IPL match to Kings XI Punjab last night and the paceman was seen bitterly crying on the field reports The Times of India.
Upset over the row between Mumbai Indians stand-in captain Harbhajan Singh and Kings XI Punjab paceman S Sreesanth, Indian Premier League Chairman Lalit Modi on Saturday said it was a “serious matter” and was not good for the cash-rich Twenty20 tournament.
But Modi said the IPL committee would wait for an official report on the matter before deciding about their next action in the issue.

Sreesanth on the other hand has no intention of complaining and says bhajji had apologised to him in the dressing room and that he had the right to do what he did!!!

In my view no matter what, nobody is entitled to physically assault anyone off the field or on it no matter how good a player you are!!!

Bhajji is also a human being. He too has emotions and could not tolerate stupid gestures from Sreeshant. Remember Zidane Incident,We have others too Javed Miandad slapped with bat to an opponent, Maninder- manoj prabhakar ,Miandad - More, Inzamam and a spectator in canada these incidents keep on happening- But IPL is unofficial ,May be harbajjan banned for a few tests and ODIs. He need not bother,He ll play better and ban makes him stronger on return.. He is already a superstar besides being the best spinner in india and world after Kumble,Murali . Kumble is to retire soon.

he could have been provoked by sreesanth. harbhajan should learn to control anger. he does not desreve to be punished. india needs him. he can be given another chance. sreesanth should also be punished if harbhajan is punished.
i m very happy to c bhajan slapping sreeshanth n he is crying n the ban on harbhajan,coz this two r thinking they r the king,i say they r ass holle.
This is one of the best things happened for world cricket. Sreeshanth got what his antics deserves and Bhajji for his short temper. Sreeshanth is happy that it was Bhajji had it been Hayden or Symonds , he would have died on ground.
Harbhajan has been banned for 11 matches! I think he deserves this for his disrespectful actions!
